  1. We used it while we were moving from LA to Denver and needed to stop at hotels when we got sleepy, we stayed at two and used this app, the only downside is that you don’t get much in the way of choices or location, just a predetermined room, eg we had to get 2 queen beds instead of a king but didn’t know that until arriving. If you’re okay with the possibility of not getting exactly what you want but for a big discount, then check it out.

  2. Always be careful when using third party room rental apps since most hotels have a policy (or multiple) about kicking those reservations first if a priority member needs a room. Platinum members of Holiday Inn always get an available room even if they have to cancel the third party reservation. You could be left out cold in an unfamiliar area if you're not careful with booking.

  3. I used it once in NYC after my original reservation got canceled. The price was still higher than my original reservation. I still glance at it every once in a while to see what prices would have been if I booked with them and it’s never a good deal.

  4. Is not very accurate some hotels get more money having "empty " rooms just like VIP airport rooms exist to serve only members, similar to restaurant subscription

That's why not all cool hotels are there

  5. I’ve used HT for almost 10 yrs and it was great! I got to level 11. Lately however I’ve been getting what seems to be not so good rooms from the hotel staff at checkin because I’m booking through HT and they give me the worst view if any view at all and the not so good room that’s not renovated so I’ve been straying away from it and booking elsewhere

  6. Actually as a hotel person this will give you the lowest rate but it allows the hotel to give you whatever room type we want and any fees that the hotel waive for booking direct we make you pay it here. Also you cannot change or cancel your booking. We look at these reservations like fillers.

  7. Remember, the crossed out rate it shows is the HIGHEST price that was listed in the app within the previous time period. Not the actual cost from the hotel

  8. 🙌🏽 HT has been my go to for quick trips. Just FYI major conferences and events you may not be able to stay at one hotel the whole time, at least from the app, check with the front desk if you don’t see the time you need and they can assist if possible

  9. "Slow sports news!" – in my brittish accent 😂
I've been using this app for well over a decade. It's great, but I truly feel their prices could be cheaper. However, I do recommend having it in your portfolio!
    Sincerely, Mr. International!
