👻Eye Like Being Stupid😁… making corporate officers of car rental cos. & insurance cos. $$$RICH$$$. Gotta go now: Nurse Feelgood sez it's time 4 my afternoon ❤ ENEMA.😅
This is WRONG 100%. If you have FULL COVERAGE on your car insurance, then you dont need to buy rental car insurance. If you dont, your credit card wont cover for LIABILITY. If you hit someone car and it is your fault, then you have to pay for it.. your credit card wont cover. If you rent a car and u dont have full coverage on car insurance then BUY LIABILITY ONLY and reject others
It’s true for my household…. Rental insurance is included and our amex also helps covers whats not cover and they do the same for us when we out of the country.
Don't just post vague information like this just to have a content to post, you obviously not even an insider. It always depends on what kind of vehicle, duration of rental and where you're going.
I lost €1,670 with Carla Car Rental due to unclear IDP rules. Be careful when booking — they refused to refund even though I was denied the car at pickup.
I was informed either a Mastercard (credit card) or American Express (credit card) would work WITH your insurance company (depends on what insurance company). And understand you MUST have rental on your policy already for this to work. Look at you policy!
Nah, as he admitted it still "comes back on you" and rather it doesn't cost you immediately, congrats you now have a hickey on your record and premium might go up as well. A haunting paper trail or worst
I payed $85 insurance at Hertz that they say they will reimburse the full amount right after I return the car. They recharge my card for 0.01cent after returning the car as an indication that the money has been released and it will be in my account in about a week or month, it’s been three months now and I’m still waiting…😒
You have to pay with credit card anyways. Most rental lots make you so if there is any damage done or if you leave with the car never come back you are liable. Checkmate
When insurance companies tell you you are covered .. ask them how. And you’ll find out super quick you are covered by paying YOUR deductible of either $500 or $1000 or however you have it set up. Don’t listen to this fool.
A lot of people don't understand the rental companies own the car, not them, so drive responsibly like it's your new car and you won't need to worry, and don't go into sketchy places. They always have documentations of the car conditions. Doesn't take a staff's advice to figure out. Of course purchase insurance if you want an extra peace of mind if you don't want to get sued if you go and get into accidents, which is going to cost you big. Even their insurance might only cover a certain amount, so if the damage is too much then thats on you.
Actually if you have auto insurance in your vehicle you do not need to pay for any insurance… You are cover and the rental also have insurance in the car… 40$ a day it's a bit too much unless he's renting a full size suv
Just check your card doesn't exclude certain countries if you're travelling overseas. Plus, you will still be out of pocket usually, as you pay the insurance excess and wait to be reimbursed
I have USAA. I contacted them about rental car coverage. They do provide the coverage but not for incidentals that happen during the rental…small dings, dents and scratches. The damage waiver pays for itself thru the rental company.
Chase sapphire preferred/reserve, bilt, capital one venture/venture X, amex green/gold/platinum with premium rental coverage all provide primary CDW coverage.
Heres the question of the day if some1 rented a car HIT AND RUN can you sue both THE PERSON USING HIS INSURANCE AND THE COMPANY THAT HE USED TO RENT THE VEHICLE?

This only works if you have full coverage on your own personal car…
Gave alike for the commenters inputs
I always get their damage waiver insurance just in case I only bring back the steering wheel!😅😅😅

I get PRIMARY coverage with my United Explorer card
Always buy full coverage. Or be ready to pay a HUUUGE sum in case of an accident
Get primary through Amex platinum. It’s PRIMARY. And only $25 for the ENTIRE RENTAL. Your auto insurance never gets involved
It’s true for my household…. Rental insurance is included and our amex also helps covers whats not cover and they do the same for us when we out of the country.
Yeah, horrible advice. This guy is myth busting the smart Asian stereotype.
Credit card only pay secondary, not primary
My Chase Sapphire Preferred covers me instead of me getting Non-Owners Rental insurance or getting the rental insurance separately.
Only in the U.S.

It’s $40 😂 just pay it. What if your insurance policy changes
Chase Sapphire reserve access as a primary rental coverage. Regardless, using credit cards as the rental coverage is definitely the way to go.🎉
Trust this video and find yourself, you want vacations or problems during and after vacations?😂😂

Everyone that travels know about it. Please provide some informations that not widely known. Also please make sure your credit card does that .
Discover CC doesn't participate in this at this time 😔. Thank you for this video though. Very onsightful.
Or take an annual policy which is MUCH cheaper
Imma bout to lose my job because of this tip, thanks 👍

Edit:This is in Mexicali Mexico by the way
No, travel insurance are the worst!
So basically brah it’s like. Like ya know the thing is to be like. Go from 1 to 10 cars. The gem hidden code is like get loans
Your not avoiding paying for the damage the credit card insurance basically covers the amount some days later or even a month
casper v2??

Even if it's the case you have to pay for liabilities and then try to take your money back from your insurance

You need primary insurance coverage for it to cover you full. If your credit doesnt offer that might as well get the insurance from the company.

Not every credit. Call your bank before using this advice.
Not the same in Europe.

Most rental companies request debit
