I actually applied with so many companies, I got an interview invite via email without stating the exact company that sent me the interview. I really need to do some research concerning the company before the interview date.
Would you advise me to send a mail the the hr team asking them the exact company I'm been invited for ?
I had an interview today. I was so nervous and basically forgot everything I wanted to say. I got asked the weirdest question " tell us about a time you changed a job and made it beneficial or made it work better for you" I felt like an idiot and sat there going ummmm….. ummmmm…what the hell?? How should I have answered that??
I did ask a bunch of questions at the end. One of them was the one you suggested and asked them what they liked most about the corporation they worked for. I did get a smile and chuckle from the stone faced head of HR. She looked at the other 2 and said " who is being interviewed here" they all answered

I literally said this yesterday at my interview with the owner, manager, and Supervisor. The Supervisor handed me the employee handbook, then i got hired today. All 3 on a conference call with me today said i was the most impressive applicant they had ever seen. All i did was use your tips…. Thank you so much ☺

This is an outstanding recommendation that "typically" will get you hired!!! However, remember that "sometimes" you can shine too much in the interview and those in hiring positions "may" feel threatened by your motivation, level of experience, education, and high aspirations and therefore NOT hire you because of their internalized insecurities. Good luck with your career endeavors!
