Well, I really went all out with this one sharing hacks that have never been shared on YouTube before, I hope you find it useful! Which hack surprised you most? Did you find any great deals as a result?
this is super useful thank you for the video. did not have super high expectations going into it but i learned a lot
why can I have the destination set to a country or continent but not your departure? that's super annoying!
I am close to STR in Germany but can easily get to Paris or other cities by train for very cheap…
You look like the vance meme LOL
ACTUAL HELPFUL TIPS TYYY❤
You forgot to mention that when you fly with a low cost carrier you got no check in baggage included and even your hand carry is limited. Another thing is low cost carriers usually fly from remote airports. You'll have to spend extra money to get there. That's a big question if you even save anything eventually.
Also, booking airline determines baggage allowance. I often find paying a bit more gives me lots of benefits.
Bro what 😂 i only have 3 weeks leave anually aint no way im wasting a whole day + hassle trying to save 200 dollars lol
Hey, what a great video with lot's of great tips. That being said, I noticed you've mentioned that the same seat can be listed differently on alliance partners. Is there a way to take advantage of that? I've seen some people even sell courses on how to book special rate seats offered to alliance partners but it all seems too sketchy to be worth checking out. Would be great to hear you take on this.
Good AI application
Can you sell me an AI that does all this for me?
it will not save you any money… you will end up spend more in money and time. at least for me book directly can give me benefit
Nice tips, thank you
Ahhhh!!!
The long layover, but I don't mind co there are countries that offers free tours while you are in transit.
They even have shower areas.
And cheap way to tour the city area.😊
Actual "life hack" is to not fly during high season of the destination because no matter what the price will be bumped up. Or if you have to then buy the tickets well ahead of time. And well if you are flying to another continent and you are doing a multiple itinerary trip to "save money" you better make sure that the baggage allowance is same or similar otherwise you will lose all your saved money on pointless baggage allowance fees. Not to mention the biggest danger of these "life hack" itineraries, if any sort of disruption happens on one of the flights and your other flights are sold on separate tickets with another airline, then you are shit out of luck, suddenly you can't cancel the whole trip and get full refund, adjustments on other tickets might cost you money because of the disruption. Honestly it's not worth it unless you are saving a lot of money and somehow you are so lucky that nothing is changed to your flight plans. So really you aren't saving much.

this is actually great tips…
Good video and I’d be keen however to get your thoughts on these online 3rd partly online booking agents you see on Google Flight and also Skyscaner. Often their prices are somewhat cheaper than what the airlines are offering. To avoid any hassles at the airport and for easy online check in, I always prefer to book with the airlines directly. But in some cases the prices quoted are a lot less and very tempting but I am very dubious of them. What’s your position on these online travel agencies and I’ll include some of the prominent hotel booking sites that are also doing this? Have you made a video on this or maybe even it could be a topic for a future one?
you might be able to get cheap ryanair flights but getting to and back from those airports adds more to your final amount. the times of the flights are usually early in the morning too
great tips
Always great videos! Good vibe, I feel like I'm sitting at my desk talking to a friend.
I will give you credit that most people prob don't know this, but most of what you said is basic or useless :/ Idk why you can't search FROM a continent though. You can on kiwi though at it was a life changer, got back from europe to US for $160

Genius many thanks, really unexpected and useful 🎉
Any hacks for booking business class seats thru points/miles other than booking 1 year in advance.
that first "trick" with flying out of a different airport only works if you're using (cheap) ground transportation to get to that city or if you're actually staying there anyway… if you're simply flying there for a layover it doesn't make sense because if there's a cheap flight from LHR to PHX with a layover in HEL the engine will just show it to you when you search LHR to PHX, you don't have to search HEL-PHX separately 🙄
that's why he showed a Ryanair flight to HEL for a completely different day rather than one that can be combined with the HEL-PHX flight 😂
Thanks for another giveaway! Appreciate you! andyp
LMAO! What was the guy doing in the background at 3:29
So you save $60 to fly an additional 8-9 hours coming home, minus the carry on fee of at least $19 with Ryan Air. So now you’re saving $41 but adding 8-9 more hours and probably booking through a third party website.. not for me 🤣
