This specifically works for first time visitors or those who have had inactive accounts for years and years. This is to capture those initial return marketing offers. If you’ve had/used a card before your offers will be based on your losses/historical play and $100 won’t get you very far at all. Once you’re an established player you should switch all of your play to one loyalty club, build it up and status match when you can. The thing, though, is that every place she'll mention is paying her. Look people, here's the hack. Pick a hotel. We'll use Aria as an example, it belongs to MGM, so every MGM property you go to, use the players card, and charge everything to your room. You'll build points, get offers. You're welcome. Don't "trust the process" when people are paid by the places you visit.

We lived in Vegas starting in the 80s to the early 2000s. My brother would visit & began with players clubs downtown at Main St & the Cal. Now 4-6 times a year going to Vegas he hasn’t paid for a room for at least 10 years.

I used to go to Vegas from CA about 6 times a year and never had to pay for a room, got tons of food and free play. But I retired and moved away. I now live in Indiana and go to a Caesars owned casino right down the road. I get ZERO comps from them. I have put a lot of money through the slots there, still no comps. But I have won a lot of money. Everyone I have talked to says it's the worst casino ever, and while I have won I can see what they mean. Other than jackpots the playback is dismal. I've just been very lucky.
I agree with the commenters..this is absolutely no longer the case. Especially at the Wynn. Ceasars and MGM have cheaper properties for which you might quicky qualify for free rooms. But the Wynn rewards program has no cheap properties

I mean that’s a lie 😂, also they will send you all the same coupons and rates because you have to have an email associated with your confirmation and booking. I’d even go further to say those cards are the devils kiss when gambling, they can track how much you are willing to lose in machines. I never gamble with one of those. I’m not an expert, but i go to Vegas 4 times a year for the last 8 or 9 years.

We had rooms in Caesars Palace, Aria, Trump, MGM, Bellagio, Venetian and Wynns during several years, before covid.
We had all the cards
We've spend many many thousands of dollars, losing at the machines.
However, never got more than a free lunch and an offer for a dinner whilst checking out….back to the Netherlands

Yeah, this doesn't work. I have played on my card over $100, I like to gamble, and nothing. I play a lot, go several times a year. I've never gotten anything. Tribal casinos on the other hand….

You're not getting resort fees or taxes waived and free parking if you cycle only $100. Probably not getting any food or showtickets either. You'll get a couple "free nights" Sun-Thurs in a room the size of a broom closet with a view of a parking garage concrete wall.
