  1. 😮 Cheaper bargains might ended-up paying more to fix the problems when things went wrong like extension of hotel stays , more money to be spend on food & road transportations to the airports! We already experiencing the deterioration of full service flights , be prepared to endure more headaches & lost of valuable resources like time if trying something that luring in customers with their cheapness! Then there are always the surprise rare good deals to be find if one has the time , energy & patience trying out these cheap flights! … 🙏

  2. I tried watching your video, but YT is blocking me from watching or hearing your videos. I refreshed the screen 12 times. Just so you know, I've been watching other people's livestreams and videos for the last 2-3 hours without issue. Just a friendly fyi.

If they are blocking people from watching your content, that's your money.

  3. Forget skiplagged. although its technically "legal" its against the airlines terms so they have the right to charge you, take your miles if you have any and ban you for life. Not worth the risk.

  4. 1. Airline sites are not always cheaper. Sometimes even more expensive. This misinformation is still circulating. My recent flight to Central America was almost 100 dollars cheaper on Priceline than on Copa Air. That's a real-world example.
    2. When searching, open three separate windows and search all with the same parameters – saves time and gets the best results.
    3. Using Skiplagged is against the rules for all airlines, and it is not worth getting banned from an airline because you are trying to game the system, regardless how rigged the system is.

  5. I don t think skipplagged is legal , airlines are checking on that now days , I would be very careful not to do it too many times .Also the cheapest flights on kayak or other search engines don t include seats or carry on even with major airlines . Lot of click bates out there !!!!!!LOL

  6. If you book directly at the airline you’re less likely to experience problems, in case of refund you won’t end in between two stools, this is true.

But yes step over is cheeper, generally the more inconvenient the cheaper the flight.

Yeah those sites are definitely US solutions mainly

  7. Just took a look at YUL Deals for a flight to Ft. Lauderdale in April 2025. The taxes are absolutely insane!! They come up to about 60% of the cost of the ticket. So since we're 2 ppl. We're technically paying (according to the actual price of the ticket) for 3 ppl. Am I going through a "brain fart" moment or does that actually crazy? $259.61 + $174.36 in taxes. Has anyone looked at the taxes on flights? Maybe it's the fact that the departure is from Montreal (Quebecers pay more taxes) ??

  8. I always find it interesting when I see a video that talks about special way to get to better prices, that I can't find how do it on the website. Example, the "Book this Hacker Fare"
(0.27sec/10:13), I can't find it anywhere on the website. The way it's present it in the video makes it sound so easy and it's right there. WRONG. If you have a special feature, SHOW how to find it. It's like watching video on how to do something with apple software. It never seem to look the same as your version. You can't even know where to begin. I'm really VERY disappointed with the presenter. They assume you know something particular before you even start.

  9. Thank you, Megan, for the video. I need clarification with the following issue that I am facing from you or some experienced travelers!! I booked my round trip flights to/from Germany/San Francisco directly on Lufthansa because I realized that the cheap flight websites lead you to an airline's website to book it anyway, and the price was the same. I booked my flights, and later, I wanted to ask a question regarding the mileage, and an agent from the Lufthansa Airlines told me that my flights are on stand-by because it is on the basic economy, and therefore, I may not be able to board the airplane unless there is an opening even though I paid for it. The agent asked me to pay additional $350 to make it an official ticket. Is that right???

  10. Thank you very much. Love the airwander. Never heard of it before. I have done many long layovers and made mini vacations out of them but never a stopover. My first search had a stopover in Bangkok but also a 23 hour layover in Tokyo which is basically a bonus stopover.

  11. For international nothing is good. The price is good but then you need the lagging and seat that go almost 60% more to add to the original price. Yes it will cheap ticket if have two or three stops which you will spend the life in airports and planes!! Good deal yes?

  12. Thank you very much! All the websites you mentioned are really very helpful, but only for Economy Class passengers. There are absolutely no deals whatsoever for Business Class passengers. 🥲

  13. Do other sites offer "hacker fares"? Last fall my wife took a trip booked through her travel agent, and used Delta, WestJet, and United. I just booked a trip on Expedia: Porter one way, Air Canada return. So this might not be unique to Kayak.

  14. You are 100% correct in saying that these sites you are promoting play by their own rules. What I can't figure out is why anyone would waste their time looking at these discount sites when you then recommend going to the "Airlines Official website to book the flights" by doing that you are not going to get the same price, you said it yourself when you said the by booking with the official airlines you can take advantage of their flexible options which you do not get using the discounted websites.

I totally STOPPED using those discounted websites after they screwed me over trying to get back from Thailand when Covid caused massive travel interruptions. My returned flight was cancelled, but Expedia told me because I booked On Air Canada I would need to talk to them about refunding my return portion, Air Canada said I booked through Expedia so they were responsible for the refund. This went back and forth for a year before I finally stopped playing there games they got exactly what they wanted, me to give up. My next booking was through another discounted website that was cancelled a week later and I fought for that refund which took over a year to get.

I finally got back to Canada for 3 times more for a 1 way ticket then I ever paid for a round trip ticket to from Canada to Thailand.

The last 2 times to Thailand I booked through Air Canada's website without any help from the cheap discount websites, and I've gotten the FLEX option for peace of mind for not alot of dollars extra.

So the moral of my story is I deleted all the discounted airfare websites from my phone. What you all do is your business this was my experience yours maybe better. Safe Travels everyone.

  15. I use skiplagged not because of the hidden city fares but because the interface of their website is super simple to use, I like how they show the price graph and the flights as a line and that lets you clearly see when flights are cheaper as well as seeing how long the stopovers are (i.e. you can visually compare them) 😂

  16. I have recently had issues where I find a great and affordable flight on google flights (my favorite option), but then when I go to the official website to book, the price automatically goes up a couple hundred dollars or more. I am not making any changes to the flight, just following the link and the currency is the same. Do you know why this is or how to afford it? This is a new issue I have run into recently.

  17. I've traveled the most around Asia (Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Thailand, Korea). I found MANY of the local airlines have very strict rules about the weight of carry on. So trying to stuff it full of a weeks worth of things could be a challenge. People should be aware of this possible restriction. For me, last year I traveled 5 months straight. No way I could have done that without checking a bag. Especially so I had room for gifts and purchases to bring home. A backpack is not good for that extra stuff you pick up while traveling.
Although – two times I did go the local post office and mail a box of "stuff" to my home. This was very cost efficient when I sent it 4th class. Not so good when I accidentally sent it first class. Still – better than trying to stuff in my luggage.

  18. usually videos with "hack" suggestions are worthless. This was great. Too bad I didnt know about some of this BEFORE I made all my international travel plans last week. But for next time! Thanks

  19. I always rope down my bag with wipes before deboarding esp well on the area that’s touching my body. I really try to pack everything in 1 backpack that fits under the seat for up to 1 week .

  20. Capital One portal for buying anything is not very good bc prices are higher than in other sites. Yes they'll give you the points but you're actually paying more. Wtf?
