$30 vs $300 Hotel in Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, finding the cheapest hotel can be a bit of a gamble, but there are budget-friendly options available for savvy travelers.

We stay near the famous Las vegas downtown Fremont street at the downtowner boutique hotel! it has a pool, gym, mini golf & ice machine.

One of the more economical choices on the famous Las Vegas Strip is often The Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod (formerly known as the Stratosphere). While it may not boast the glamour of some of its more luxurious neighbors, The Strat offers comfortable rooms at relatively affordable rates, making it a suitable choice for budget-conscious visitors. Beyond the affordable accommodations, guests can also enjoy the thrill rides atop the Stratosphere Tower, providing a unique perspective of the city without breaking the bank.

To discover the best hotel deals in Las Vegas, there are several strategies you can employ. First, consider booking your stay during the off-peak season, typically between November and February, when prices tend to be lower due to fewer tourists. Additionally, signing up for loyalty programs with hotel chains or using hotel booking websites and apps can grant you access to exclusive discounts and deals. Be flexible with your travel dates and check for last-minute offers, which can yield significant savings. Finally, comparison shopping is key; browse multiple booking platforms and read reviews to ensure you’re getting the best value for your money while still enjoying a comfortable stay in this world-famous entertainment hub.

  1. Checking into the cheapest hotel in Vegas is a bold move! I was waiting for the horror story, but it actually looks decent. Definitely adding Downtowner to my list for the next budget trip. Absolute legend for testing this out! ๐Ÿ™Œโœˆ๏ธ

  2. I stayed at the Boutique hotel, it's downtown & was cool, but there is absolutely NO smoking, and a lot of younger kids, but was nice, clean, and affordable. But you do pay a fee that's refundable.

  3. The resort fees at every hotel make it impossible to find a 30 dollar a night room . The room might say itโ€™s only 30 dollars a night but add on resort fees your probably at least up to 70 or 80 a night

  4. I have stayed at the Downtownerโ€ฆ. Itโ€™s decent inside but itโ€™s in a really bad homeless filled ghettoโ€ฆ had to park across the street and there was as just a bunch of gang banger looking dudes drinking and hanging out all night by peoples carsโ€ฆ. Went to the 711 to get snacks and the 711 manager was literally beating up some homeless lady in front of the store because I guess she always went in there to stealโ€ฆ.. I would definitely just pay the resort fee and stay on the strip

  5. That conrad view reminds me of the view from our room at Grand millennium Al wahda in Abu Dhabi. The hotel had a direct access to Al Wahda mall and Central bus station in Abu Dhabi. I remember it had costed us $70 a night back in 2019.

  6. ahahahah the $28 is relatively so much better that just an idiot would spend $300 (unless they are rich, of course). Well I'm DEFINITELY not poor but surely I would never ever chose the $300 in a city like Las vegas where your spend the real money in the activities!

  7. The cheap rooms have there advantage, so do the expensive ones. Unless your going to spend 20 hours a day on vacation in your room, it's up to you what you want to pay. By the way, the mini fridge is very expensive. $12 for a soda, $9 for a bottle of water, automatically added to your bill. That $300 a night room can get REAL expensive!

  8. Wife and I stayed at the Downtowner waaaay back in 1995 … was a bit grubbier then but still ok … worst thing was how long it took us to get to The Strip! And that hasn't changed …
